Statement of Rev. Michelle A. Walsh
As a minister, I practice in Thich Nhat Hanh's Buddhist tradition as well as liberal Christianity. As a Unitarian Universalist, I affirm and promote a free and responsible search for truth and the use of the democratic process. As a practicing Buddhist, I commit to deep listening, particularly in areas of profound suffering. And as a liberal Christian, I seek to promote right relationships, justice, and the beloved community. From all of these religious perspectives, I believe that enough legitimate questions have been raised by respectable sources to warrant a call for a new investigation into the circumstance of 9/11. I urge President Obama and the current congress to consider reopening the investigation into 9/11.
